Good Family Entertainment

This is a beautifully made valentine from one master movie-maker (Scorsese) to another (Milies). Although it's contrived, it's a lovely story with an upbeat ending. I'm not sure I'd miss the 3D if it weren't there.

Very good but not for the youngest

This is a wonderful movie, and I liked it a lot. Parents should know that there are a few scenes of peril [a fire threatens the house, there is a large gang of dogs, etc.] So it may be too intense for the youngest of viewers.
But it's a fine film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I had been looking forward to seeing IRON MAN for a long time, and I was not disappointed.
The three leads -- Downey, Paltrow and Bridges are terrific, and the action -- once the relatively slow first 1/2 hour is over -- is breakneck and dazzling.
Don't expect reality -- come for the show !!
