Perfect "summer" movie, however, but fell short of the "The Da Vinci Code". Great action, but quite unemotional acting by both Hanks & Zurer; why? So so many ' moments too late' for rescue scenes. Could have done without the graphic violence imposed on the preferiti; our imaginations can fill it in. Loved the Italian police, Swiss guard, etc interactions. Worth seeing for the historic Roman settings and pseudo-intimacy of the Vatican. Wonder what all the alternative endings were; that would be fascinating on the DVD!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
