This should end the series. As a huge fan of the series, I entered the movie with great hope and anticipation; unfortunately, I ended up thinking what does this movie have to do with the Terminator story? There was no time travel, no flashbacks, and no relevant storyline. The storyline in the movie had no foundation from the previous movies; it was a totally new concept. The reality is that the interesting part of this story is before Judgement Day; afterwards it is just about survival. They leave the story open ended (so they can make another film), but they really needed to have the machines destroyed to make this a good movie. Also, Christian Bale reminded me too much of Batman in too many scenes.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
