Rent captured on film in this manner was truly amazing. For those who saw the film version and felt confused, and empty after need to see this film, and experience Rent in the manner in which it was meant to be seen. Having seen the show live over 100 times, this film captures the excitement, and emotion that only live theater can give you....
Yes, I recommend this movie.
