Not many Americans get a chance to know what Iranian society is really like these days, except through film. "No One Knows About Persian Cats" is a poignant yet often humorous glimpse into the undergound music scene in Tehran. Based on a true story, the film depicts various indie rock artists, and their struggle against harsh censorship as they pursue their passion through whatever means they can. The movie includes, a great soundtrack in Farsi and English.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
