Having seen the show and only this cast on broadway, I thought the film was great! For those who never saw in live, this is your opportunity to feel the emotion of what RENT is all about. This is such a moving show and I recommend it to everyone. I absolutely love this cast! Eden, Tracie, and Renee are awesome! My congratulations to the cast and Sony for an outstanding film!! I hope this comes out on DVD.
