What A Great Show! Bad Filming.

As a huge Renthead I knew I could not miss out on this opportunity to see Rent filmed on Broadway. I think the acting/singing/show was amazing. My only criticism was the actual filming. I sometimes found the camera too close to the characters and there were way too many camera changes. It took a while for me to get use to the filming and into the show. I wish it had made me feel more like I was at the actual stage production. Because of this, I will not see this again in theaters nor buy the DVD. I would love to see future Broadway shows in the movies, but with a tweak in the filming and please please never again follow objects as they are throwing them!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
