One of the best movies I have ever seen. True to Gene Roddenberry's ideals. Action, adventure, romance, special effects, acting all superb. Good story, interesting, funny too. Made me laugh, cry, gasp and cheer. Good for us old trekkies and none trekkies alike. Money well spent. Entertainment in the theater at its best. Not anything like the Next Generation series or other Star Trek movies, except perhaps II and IV.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

IMAX is truly incredible for this must-see film. Acting, effects, script, directing, sound are best in years. Well worth the extra cash to see this. Uplifting, suspenseful, dramatic, non stop action is just what one needs in this economy to "take one away" from it all for a few hours.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
