Avatar highlights the issue of human greed being a greater motivator to those with too much power than choosing to live with moral conscious and sound reason. With two hours and forty minutes for run time, one can become very engrossed in the mystical land of Pandora and develop a rich appreciation for the well developed characters in this film. There is a lovely romance that presents itself during the story but ultimately the action and gorgeous cinematic settings really won my vote.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
