Fun movie, 3d - cheesy

I like Fraser, and the remake of this was descent. Standard remake theme of falling in a hole in the earth, bump your head, see dinosaurs. I took my "overly logical" 15 year old son and we chuckled at the cheesy but fun effects. The 3D glasses ALWAYS give me a headache, so I'm not a good judge. There were a few GOOD 3D effects though. This is a fun lighthearted movie, for a good time, and many smiles. Dont expect to be blown away, go for fun, and you'll enjoy it.
I'm pretty easy to please and I LOVE scifi, so my rating (1-5):

Poor script, lame movie

I like Vin, but not even HE could save this movie. Good actors cannot save a bad script and poor directing. Sure it had action, if you want to call it that; it had a loose plot; customary poor jokes; and WHAT is up with the makeup job on Depardieu? yeesh! I'm pretty easy to please and I LOVE scifi, so my rating (1-5):
