I read the book and I have to say the movie is true to the book.The story in itself is in my opinion somewhat dark, so the movie does display this "darkness" well.

Kristen Stewart has my admiration for nailing such an unrestrained and uninhibited character as Joan Jett is. Without underestimating Dakota Fanning's performance I think Joan Jett should had been the center of this story.
Loved the rawness of this movie, it is after all about REAL life !.

I liked the movie very much. I am not a movie critic, I am a regular person who loves to go to the movies to see a good story and I enjoyed this one. It has a little bit of everything but mostly emotions we can all relate to, like love, nonfulfillment of one's hopes and expectations, the loss of a love one, anger. The end was particularly different. I was very absorbed by the story, and that to me has to do with satisfactory performance by the actors.

I was without doubt absorbed by the colors and emotions of this movie.There were moments when I had to remember to breath. I went to see it simply because I was curious about the special effects but there was much more to it than that. Very entertaining!!. I am glad I went to see it.

I love the Twilight books and also going to the movies.I saw the movie twice and enjoyed it more the second time. They did a great joy with the wolves.You have to be open minded and reasonable about this things,I go to the movies to have a good time and be enterteined and this movie did it for me.As a Twilight book's fan I am satisfied...500+ pages into 2:10 minutes movie...
