This was worth waiting for. From someone who has been a Trekker since TOS aired on NBC in the Sixties, I have to say that the time travel idea is getting worn thin, but in this case I see why it was necessary. It was bold to destroy Vulcan, and Kirk should have been thrown in the brig. But then, who would have saved the Earth? Star Fleet is nothing like the U S Navy. It does help to have friends in high places. Good action, Love the new version of the "old" Enterprise. Glad to be rid of Brannon Braga!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
