The movie was "Good", maybe "Okay". The graphics and cinematography was amazing. The plot was different than the children's story - so it made it interesting. The 3D was frustrating because the colors were too dark. Plus, the glasses were tinted. I even tried to not wear them during the movie and even tried cleaning them too thinking they were dirty. I would have liked to see more vivid colors and brighten the set. The plot was a bit shallow. Johnny Depp's involvement was minimal and his character was almost insignificant. Anne Hathaway's character was also minimal. They also could have done more with her white hair and BLACK eyebrows. I hope this helps. Enjoy!

I took my six, five, and two year-old to this movie. It is cute movie without adult humor. I was happy they focused on entertaining the kids and not me. The story line was simple enough for them to understand, yet not boring that it lost their interest.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
