Opera as good as sporting event

The AIDA, as with all of the Met in HD performances I have seen, was spectacular. It is like watching a sporting event; you are very up close and personal. Sound and picture were very good.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Opera as a "Sports Event"

The Opening Night Gala from the Met was as exciting as all the other Met broadcasts to the theaters. It is like a sports event where you get up close and personal views of the performers both on the stage and in the pit and during the scene changes. The audiences in the movie theaters get caught up with the excitement and applaud along with the Met audiences. It is certainly the next best thing to being there and in some ways even better because you get a much closer view. It is a must for opera lovers and those who have never been to an opera .
Yes, I recommend this movie.
