Great Movie, though I wish I had been able to see it all. Don't misunderstand. I was there for the whole thing, but I was so emotionally caught up in the voices and the stories, it brought tears to my eyes for a great deal of the movie. GREAT JOB RYAN!
Mercedes, you rock my world.

While the beginning of the movie sets the mood for anticipation and curiosity to see "what", I was disappointed that the alien in the movie wasn't as " likeable " as in previous thrillers. It was difficult to get my mind around the whole plot. And what happened to the relationship between the fathers and the their kids? Where was the closure?
The kids delivered their lines well, the adults were okay. I felt the story line could have been a little better.
Putting Spielberg's name in as "the reason we go to the movies" was probably the selling point but also probably what set me up for my disappointment as well.
