The direction that the franchise was going BEFORE "Batman Begins" was quite disappointing. I'm exceedingly grateful now for the "reset." And "Dark Knight" is THAT MUCH BETTER. Heath Ledger was flawless as the Joker.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
