A bit mixed up

This movie didn't seem to know what it wanted to be - a thriller, an opinion of the afterlife or a teenage love story. It was very slow and seemed to lose its way. The message that the girl was trying to reach her father so that he could work out her killer was was not clear, and the dad just didn't get it! The character of the older girl who can see 'dead' people could have really been developed - but wasn't. Read the book and forget the movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
