Usually I automatically class all of Baz Luhrmans pieces as perfect but Australia was the one exception. The worst part about the film was Nicole Kidma. I am usually a huge fan of Nicole but it just seemed as though she was trying too hard. Hugh Jackman was perfect for the role. The best character and actor in the movie was the little aboriginal boy Nullah. The actual shooting of the film and the scenery was breathtaking, it was just sloppy in some parts.
I'm a huge huge fan of the Twilight series and went into the movie a little nervous but the movie was completely satisfying! For non-fans of the book I can see where it might get a little boring and corny, but if you're a fan I definately reccomend seeing it! Rob Pattinson & Kristen Stewart were amazing as Edward & Bella, they nailed the characters and their chemistry was unbelievable. Fans will be happy to know that some of their favourite book quotes are in the movie. Go in with an open mind, rememeber that the film is an ADAPTATION of the novel, so it won't be exactly the same. New things have been added and it makes for a better film. Love it!
I thought this movie was hilarious, its been a while since ive seen Ben Stiller at his peak and i definately thought this was it! Robert Downey Jr was hilarious, playing the 'guy playing another guy whos playing another guy'. Jack Black dissapointed me a little in this film, he was definately overshined by the others. The plotline was funny, action sequences were great. Overall i reccomend this movie if your looking for a laugh. Another of Ben Stillers great directing pieces.
I thought this movie was good, definately not as good as the first one though. For a huge fan of the Anne Brasheres books it was very dissapointing to see all the good plot lines left out of the film and changed to represent something else. But it was a fun movie, the girls were still great as the sisterhood. A nice chick flick.
