Painful at times

There is not a whole lot to this movie. It is just one battle after another which is ok but gets tiresome 30 minutes into it.
What little dialogue there was, was really hard to watch. The bratty little girl gets on your nerves right away and the scenes with the cuddly little slug will turn your stomache.
The plot holes are pretty bad as well.
My kids said they liked it but they are 6 and 7. Much older than that and I doubt they would have enjoyed it as much. This movie is definitely targeted at the very young although most of the plot will go over their heads.
If you want to watch one fight after another, go see it. Otherwise you will be ready to leave soon after you arrived.
