I will admit it’s not the most cerebral movie of all times but please, are you expecting 20 feet tall robots to be pondering about the philosophical implications of life and death or civil rights? It is a great summer movie with lots of action and comedy and some drama (come on its transformers not 7 pounds).
Critics who say it is too loud and noisy, wait are they expecting 5 tons of robot not to make a sound when they move? Under plotted? Again transformers never really had a solid plot to begin with.
Too many special effects, how else are you going to make a semi truck become a giant robot?
Sorry for the rant but It’s a great summer movie and it will entertain you (unless you are a frustrated movie maker AKA Movie Critic).

Well i have always been a Star Trek fan, so i was going into the movie with a certain excitement, but also a little caution cause other star trek movies have been a big flop (insurrection anyone?). This movie is way beyond all the others, great story, great action, amazing special effects, great humor, and great drama. i recommend it to anyone even if you are not a ST fan(specially on IMAX) so "PUNCH IT" you'll know what that means when u see the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
