Probably most people will be blown away by the effects, which were remarkable. But I loved the story even more. Yes, predictable (what blockbuster isn't), but very moving. Two big thumbs up!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I'm a fan of Mike Judge -- loved B+BH and Office Space. Unfortunately, this movie is just okay -- funny at times, but mostly meandering and underwhelming. Save for DVD
No, I do not recommend this movie.
