I am the type of person who glazes over at discussions of the economy. Not only did this movie make clear the sources of our national debt, it also made clear the potential consequences over time, as well as potentially feasible solutions (including the political will to hold our politicians accountable). It was the first time that I ever almost cried over our economic situation. The colorful characters and clips that were included throughout the film made the process of understanding this problem engaging and entertaining at the same time. I laughed more times during this movie than in a lot of comedies that I see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
