one of the absolutely best new productions we've seen. Calleja was supurb, and all other singers were terrific too. love the Voigt intermission features, too! We're hooked on HD opera but we also go to the Met a couple of times a year, you do get a different perspective!
for johnoboe47, who lost his tickets, many theaters will reissue tickets if you have the credit card that you ordered with. but not all, unfortunately. You've probably called your theater already!

all of the HD met operas that we've seen have been truly fabulous. And this one, with Gluck's glorious music, and such terrific singers, and James Levine, was one of the best we've seen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
