Boy did I get sucked in! I had heard all these great previews about "Where the Wild Things Are" and although I knew the source material was pretty scanty, I just knew director Spike would make yet another great movie out of it. WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! Who ever thought this mush would fly? It is abysmally slow, nonsensical, disjointed, poorly written, and the Wild Thing characters are COMPLETELY CREEPY!!!! Carol, the principal wild thing, clearly has bipolar disorder, and is dangerous. Tell your boss, mother-in-law, or high school principal to go just to get them back for all the evil they have done to you, but in the name of all decency, stay away from this movie!!!! What a bunch of rubbish!!!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
