I went to this movie with my 5 year-old, and when I asked her favorite part, she said all of it. I, however, thought this movie had a boring, lame plot - why wasn't Dave part of this movie? why was Zachary Levi chosen for the lead role when he can't act? how pathetic was Ian? how cliched were the jocks? It was truly awful and any adult who says they liked it must have an extremely low threshold for entertainment.
I admit -- I wanted to see this movie almost as much as my six-year old because I am such a fan of the Pixar work. The plot lines are dense, the characters are well-developed, the music is outstanding -- and I STILL can't believe all this is animated on a computer! My son had a bit of a tough time with all the subtleties of the story, but loved the characters. I am glad that I didn't take our four-year old because the dogs would have scared her and she would not have understood the whole issues around Mr. Muntz trying to redeem himself. Overall another great movie for Pixar!
