Harry Potter in 3D & IMAX

I still think a lot of the 3D and IMAX films need to work on their #D effects. Some were very good but they need to do more. They also should lighten the sets more. I know it is supposed o be dark but more often then not all 3D movies tend to be darker.
I want to read the books now to find out the real story. I realize the end was different but I think they made that for kids. Yet this movie is not for young children as they would be scared to death and have nightmares.
These actors have grown up on film and show totally good representations of good friends, loyalty in the face of adversity, bullying and other aspects we experience in the realm of fantasy. Yet truth is often close than we like to fiction.
I did hate to see the end of all the Harry Potter's films because they are creative, imaginative, and just plain entertaining.

As expected Steven Spielberg's special effects were good. I agree with the person who said it was like "Gonnies and ET with an attitude". very true. I don't think I would take small children too the movie although it had a happy ending. They ending was cute. Don't leave until the credits are over or you will miss the ending of the kids movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Movie was interesting but thought the special effects could have been more. The characters were interesting but often difficult to understand as they talked so quickly. Plus I think the character development could have been better. Often the 3 D effects at the time of the engagement party in the beginning was dark. Would have been better if they had lightened the screen. I think the 3D was OK but the IMAX didn't seem to add much more than other 3D pictures I have seen. Johnny Depp was good but hard to understand his character. Makeup was wonderful. Still fun to see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
