A Stretch!!!

After seeing the other 3 movies in the theatre, I decided to continue the tradition with Breaking Dawn Part 1. I wish I had waited until Part 2 was released and flown through part 1 on DVD at home. This was worse than a middle movie as it seemed like they tried to stretch out every scene and show way more than what was necessary to make a attention grabbing film. I'm sure it sets up Part 2 nicely, but don't wast $10 on it to be the first to see almost nothing that can't wait until Part 2.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Should have hit "Reset" not "Continue."

Disney's 1982 electronic masterpiece "Tron" is one of my favorite movies. Even for its time, the special effects were great, the story was easy to follow and the character formula blended perfectly. When I heard about Tron Legacy last year, I was very excited, but worried about one crucial aspect: were enough people familiar with the original to carry a sequel 28 years later. The answer is a resounding NO! If you have not seen the first one, you cannot appreciate all the little allusions, recreations and updates found in this newer version. And don't bother with the 3D aspect. For a year's worth of additional 3D technology, this wasn't even close to Avatar. See the 2D version and save the additional $5 per ticket. Further, this movie lacks what most fans of the original wanted to see...the character Tron. He has what I can only describe as a twisted cameo with little explanation and development of the new character. Huge miss. This is a clear case of recreate the original or continue the franchise. It was 50/50. Disney made a bad call. But go to see great special effects in a movie that is clean for the kids.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Do not see the movie "THE BOX".
It is the dumbest movie ever created and you will waste 2 hours of your life. You will never get this time back. Don't wait for it on DVD. Don't watch it on HBO. If you are in a hospital bed and unable to change the channel, maybe then! Stay away! I feel like I bathed in a sea of STUPID!!! If someone offered me a button to press that would destroy every copy of this movie in exchange for some horrible event, I would press it twice just to make sure "The Box" would never be seen again!!!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
