Ok they did a much better job at the special effects and picture quality.
Is it better than the last one.....kinda. It did a horrible job in the beginning helping the viewer get setup for the plot/scenes - if you read the book, you would understand what the characters were referring too. Also they needed to make the anticipation of the "newborns" to be more intense ....it was just kinda "blah".
Hoping the next two movies get better in the directing of the actors and pull out of them better performances.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is definitely a guy flick - i've seen the previous movies and this one did a good job of keeping you interested. Although they could've had more narrative of how their relationships came about with the other groups, i.e. humans.

Totally recommend it - best movie I've seen in a long time. For those of you who have kids right around 13 I would be hesitant to let them watch it. You may want to watch it first before you let them go see so you can find out if your kid can handle it.
