i loved this movie from start to tear jerking finish. SJ is the best! Sandra Bullock rocks! her fans will LOVE IT! football fans will love it! anyone with a heart for the less fortunate will love it! Favorite scene: SJ "coaching" Michael. Favorite line..."no you watch it, b#$%h! I am in prayer group with the DA...and a member of the NRA and I'm always packing heat!"
This movie has some very intense scenes. It really makes you question good guy vs. bad guy and hits home the injustices in the justice system. GREAT flick!!
My children's (ages 14 & 8) opinion of this film ranged from bored to stupid to some parts were funny. I definitely laughed out loud a couple times in the beginning of the movie. I realize there was a "father/son" delimma that was playing out, but not sure why the mother died (didn't appreciate that part of the story). I had friends tell me before I went to let them know how I liked it, because they wanted to know whether or not to take their own families. I will not recommend this movie for the theatre. They can wait to see it until it"s out On Demand, if then.
I do hate it when the funniest parts of a comedy have already been shown in the 2 minute trailer, as was definitely the case with this one. The funniest scenes were over in the first few minutes of the movie and then it just went down hill from there...my teenage daughter even critiqued the unneccesary dialogue that made no sense...I love Sandra Bullock, Bradley Cooper and Thomas Haden Church...however, this was a total disappointment
