I grew up with Indiana Jones...heck, I think most of us wanted to BE Indiana Jones when we grew up so needless to say I've been looking forward to this movie for years and I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed.
My biggest concern going in was whether or not Harrison Ford would be believable as the now sixty something Dr. Jones and whether or not Dr. Jones could still be believable as the super cool action hero. The answer is yes on both sides. Ford plays Indy perfectly, a little bit older, a lot more grayer, not quite as nimble as he used to be, but bottom line, he can still roll with the best of them.
The story is decent and makes for some great action sequences and just about all of the supporting characters do the job well. Cate Blantchett does an excellent job as the villian and Karen Allen returning as Marion was a nice touch. Watching Indy and Marion go at it was a nice nostalgic flashback.
If you (for some strange reason) were never a fan of the originals their is nothing in this one that will make you change your mind about the series. However, if you want to enjoy yourself for a couple of hours with some good solid popcorn enterainment then you shouldn't miss out on Indy's latest adventures.
