It was an interesting creation of a world if you care. The Avatars themselves were sometimes sexy and real, sometimes repulsive and animated-looking. The plot was out of any cowboys/Indians movie, Pocahontas, Dances with Wolves, etc. Politically correct scree on the genocide of Indians and other indigenous peoples. 3D is totally unimportant and the picture actually looks better without the two-dimensional flat distractions inherent in 3D viewing. Acting and direction of acting sub-mediocre. Has the tone of a cartoon. Not at good as Star Wars. Nor ET. Nor Star Trek. Nor 2001. Nor District 9. Nor Forbidden Planet. Nor Apollo 13. And, a tad long...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
