Good but not great

I've loved the whole Harry Potter series. Each film, up to now, has been better than the last. I still liked the current film but they spent too much time focusing on the love potion, puppy love side of the story.
A major missing piece for me was the battle at the end of the book which ended up amounting to one curse by Snape in the film. They also made Harry out to be a coward whereas in the book he is prevented from defending Dumbledore when Dumbledore immobilizes Harry under the invisibility cloak. Finally, they spent little time on trying to identify The Half Blood Prince.
Overall good but not great - basically they turned a magical mystery into a chick flick.
