Very good treatment of the story

I think that Tim Burton and Alice in Wonderland were made for each other. He did a great job of creating the wonderfully twisted world of the story.
There were a few moments where the action seemed to drag a bit, but it was a very enjoyable movie overall.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great usage of 3D!

The story wasn't really anything new, but the special effects were great and the usage of 3D was the best I have seen yet. It was very easy to suspend disbelief and become immersed in the world of the film.
As someone else mentioned, hit the bathroom before the movie. I would recommend skipping the soft drinks at the concession stand also - it is a very long movie!!
