Lots of action and adrenaline with exciting scenes and the freshness of bikes (vs cars & other chasing). The story itself is more or less predictable, but the movie is entertaining and worth watching
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good: J Gordon-Levitt, camerawork, dizzying bike chases
Bad: M Shannon's as villain not as menacing should be because he had a dorky humor about him, the premise of delivering a ticket to a smuggler is realistically unnecessary. it would have been simple if the chinese middle-man just called the smuggler himself to confirm payment, but if that happened as it would in reality then this movie wouldn't exist. this movie is worth a rental but not a trip to the theater.
Pros well paced
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is a movie based on bike couriers in New York City. A law school dropout turned carrier gets caught between a corrupt NYPD cop and a Chinese woman looking to make things right with her family and all hell breaks loose.
The movie reminded me a lot of 127 days. The action is non stop from the first frame and never quits. There is just enough of a love story to take in the women. The special effects and just the effects in general are outstanding. You see some bike riding that you never tought was possible on an "ordinary " bike.
A little bit of foul langauge spoils it for younger kids, but maybe 14 and older with parents would work?
Great entertainment with no heavy moral themes, just a lot of fun!
4 1/2 taxi cabs ot of 5 for this film!
Pros well paced, great story
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Bike Messenger Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) spends his day dodging pedestrians, cars, open car doors, buses, taxis and delivery trucks throughout New York City's roadways as he makes "Premium Rush" deliveries. His last delivery of the day seems to be no big deal, just deliver an envelope to an address in China Town. What appears to be routine is anything but.
As part of Wilee's job he is not to release his delivery until he gives it to the recipient. Wilee finds himself being chased by a NYPD Detective who wants the contents of the envelope that Wilee is carrying and he will do anything to get it. The story unfolds from there...
Kudos to "Premium Rush"! It's a HUGH adrenaline rush, non-stop action and dare devil speeding bicycles traveling thru New York City!! You will get a "Rush" just watching the movie. The bikes in the movie appear to have no brakes. "Premium Rush" is a decent end-of-the-summer escapism. The movie was well put together and there is some intrigue, a bit of suspense and some surprises.
It's definitely worth a look.
Pros well paced, adrenaline rush, lots of action, fast-paced
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A snappy, fast-paced thriller that provides a genuine rush to close out the summer. Even if you prefer four wheels over two, you're in for a pulse-pounding time. The nonstop action and physicality is like watching a two-wheel parkour workout video. An action lover's wet dream, with enough character and self-aware intelligence to forgive the rampant silliness at play. A must see.
Pros well paced
Yes, I recommend this movie.
