I liked it, seemed like a fitting end, even if I was a little surprised. I had previously read the books, so I can honestly say the adaptation was done well. I prefer to watch an epic over shortened disappointment.

Sorry to see the saga end but it was an amazing love story. Thank you for the journey.
I never read the novels and I actually saw the first movie on DVD but then became a fan of the films after seeing the first movie. I have since seen all of them with my boyfriend. I think these movies mean a lot to the fans of Stephenie Meyer's work but they are also very entertaining for the rest of us who want to head to the movies and see something worth the $8 ticket. This movie is certainly that. Although character development wasn't high on the priority list in the screenplay (Im sure they were each developed well in the novel), the movie had a great way of focusing on Edward and Bella's story now that Bella has become a vampire without focusing entirely on them. The dialogue is always entertaining, cheesy, yes (what do you expect from a teen romance fantasy), but very funny nonetheless.
Great cinematography, well choreographed fight scenes, very "edge of your seat" battle scene and beautiful ending with Christina Perri's song commemorating their love story throughout the movies. Overall, I left with a smile. It definitely helped end the Saga on a high note.
Pros great actors, good ending, good twist
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought the movie was great. The surprise ending really got me and I think that was well done. I only wish there was a little more character development of some of the "witnesses". I realize that would have lengthened the movie some or a lot, who knows, but I would not have been disappointed if they had to create a part 3. Several of the "witnesses" seemed to be rather interesting characters that I would have liked to get to know a little better. This episode seemed to go by too fast for me. I am a Twilight fan and I am sad the saga is over. Overall, I think they did an excellent job.
Pros great story
Cons needed more character development
Yes, I recommend this movie.

At least the graphics and technology seemed finally up to speed and quite good with this one... The whole series was an interesting development in this way getting better and better with WHAT you were seeing and hearing... As for the movie line, it progressed fairly well with the book and was a decent storyline altogether...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

They took a few liberties different from the book, but it still made for a wonderful movie. They stay within the original premise of the book. It was the best one yet.
Obviously if you've seen the previous Twilight Movies, you're going to see this final one regardless of what the reviewers say, but this may be the best of them all. Personally I liked the first one above all others, but this is a close second. See it.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought the special effects they used for Renesmee when she was a baby/toddler were positively awful. I expected much better.
I thought the movie as a whole dragged a bit, and that the only stuff worth seeing was in the last 15 minutes or so. That was the most entertaining part, and I wished the whole movie had been as entertaining.
I didn't feel it was true enough to the book.
Cons slow
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I love the Twlight Saga! Breaking Dawn 2 had a good story line. I haven't read the books, but only knew the story from people that had read the books. So from my perspective of watch the fight scene had me saying oh no that cannot happen but was relieved that it was only a vision of the future.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

An end to "The Suckfest Saga", and I'm not referring to the vampires
Well, it’s over. For some it’s sad. No more shirtless Taylor Lautner (he strips all the way down to his skivvies in this one). No more cheesy-looking CGI that laughably tries to convince us that these vampires are kin to The Flash. No more horrid acting. No more horrid writing. Yes, gone forever is the cheap-shot money-maker that is “The Twilight Saga” soap opera. In the latest episode, which amounts to nothing more than an unenthusiastic excuse to showcase every person who was ever in these films and convince us that the “saga” was something bigger than it was (it’s not), we wave goodbye to all of these things one last time. Sometimes, what looks great in your head as you read it in a book just doesn’t work as well on the silver screen. This is a prime example. But sadly, no one really cares. This meritless movie franchise made money off of a brand, and that’s all. What a waste of a pop-culture phenomenon. Oh well, I hear they’re already rebooting it.

This movie was very well done. Having loved the books immensely, there have been moments throughout the Twilight series when I have been disappointed by the script/acting/scenery, etc. However, this movie was absolutely genius. A must-see for all Twilight fans.
Pros well paced, great story
Cons need more storytelling in places
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Easily the best of the entire Twilight Saga series. Special effects, scenary are superb. Film is much faster paced than prior episodes. A blend of action, emotion (especially the part with Bella and her father) that tugs at your heartstrings. Totally enjoyable. Recommend to all Twilight Fans.
Pros well paced, great story, great special effects
