The movie is a bit heavy on dialogue but there was enough action to keep my son in his chair. What I found surprising was that a lot of the humor was mature and went over my son's head but got me chuckling a good number of times - once he asked me what I was laughing about. So, enjoyable enough for the kids but a better than expected experience for the parents. It was just fine without 3-D.

Neither my husband nor I could quite believe we left Yogi saying this, but this was really an excellent movie choice for our 4 year old. The storyline was crystal-clear and easy to follow with a positive message about taking care of the environment. There was nothing scary or objectionable about the content. Most importantly to our daughter, there was lots of physical comedy featuring fuzzy, funny bears. While this was not a movie we would have chosen for ourselves, our joy came from watching our daughter's face as she immersed herself in Jellystone National Park.

For little kids, yes. Adults: go when you know you are able to fall asleep for the 88 minutes...because you'll want to! If my 7-year old grand-daughter had not been squirming and wiggling I actually may have done just that!

We loved this movie! We've never got our 2 1/2 year old to watch a movie and he watched this entire movie! He even laughed! Our 9 year old daughter loved it as well! They kept this movie very clean, fun, very close to the other Yogi Bear cartoons! Such an AWESOME movie! We will definently watch it again and buy it when it comes out on DVD! We'd highly recommend it as a family friendly movie!!!! Now off to plan a trip to Jellystone! :-)

I have read some negative reviews and am shocked! I took my 3 and 4 year old to see it and they loved it! Many of the other children in the theater were laughing, clapping and cheering as well! It's not meant to be slapstick comedy just entertaining, and that it is!! I would pay to see it with the kids again in a heartbeat!!

I took my 3 year old son to Yogi Bear as his first movie, and I don't think I could have chosen a much better one for him. There were no scary scenes and he loved the characters. This movie was what I expected it to be -- a few hours of entertainment for my 4 and 5 year old boys. It really has no attraction to adults that want to relish in their past childhood glories. It is a poor example of the cartoons, but it has a claen giggles for the kids to enjoy. If you don't have any -- don't suffer through it. Alvin and the Chipmunks was easier to digest that this.

My husband and I took our 3 year old grandson. He was interested in some parts but he is little. I thought it was a little corny but it was at least something kids can watch. It's a good movie.

I took my 10 and 7 year old kids to this yesterday. They were entertained and laughed several times. Later that night, they were still quoting parts. Seeing that is was targeted for kids, I think it's successful in that domain! I even found myself chuckling here and there.
