As an older grandfather I took our 4th grade grandson and 2nd grade granddaughter. They both greatly enjoyed the movie - both laughed a lot during the movie and clapped when it was over. i also enjoyed it, though there likely are numerous older folks that wouldn't rate it five stars as I did overall for the two grandkids and myself.

Hilarious and fun! Disney has outdone itself. From great lines to stellar animation I enjoyed the movie through and through. I couldn't get over how detailed the hair and grass were especially. The story and characters were also endearing. I have nothing but praise for this movie!

My 12 year old son and I went to see this on our "date" and just loved it! The characters were entertaining and the dialogue engaging although my son stated that there was "too much singing", he also said he really liked it! Great for all ages :)

cute movie, but the "mother" character is pretty scary for little ones. we've got a 4 and 3 year old; they did ok but had to move to our laps a few times. if your child gets scared by Disney villians, Tangled will be no different. I think the PG rating is appropriate.

My 5 yr old daughter and I saw this movie with several other friends. Everyone really liked it. Great story, great music and lots of fun. There were some scenes that my daughter found scary. The main movie seemed like a broadway show with big show tunes...can't wait till it gets to Broadway to see it live. The characters, however, were very funny....the chameleon, the horse, the meanies and Rapunzel....very funny stuff. I brought three girls 5, 7 and 9 and they all were laughing which was fun to hear. We saw it in 2D because we don't like 3D, the little one is still afraid of 3D.

Warm, pleasant characters that you could care about without being too corny. Job well done on animation and color. Some of the story line did make me cry, but I'm a little emotional these days. Disney does it again! What a great story for my daughters to see. The female lead ends up to really be the hero! Many laughs and great life lessons!

Another excellent Disney installment, and very pleased to see the story of Repunzel, one that is less known amoung children. Both my boys and my girls sat through with great big eyes and laughed and cheered along. Musical numbers are fun and entertaining, but not sure they'll win any oscars. Great movie for all ages and so much fun to see a strong female and male role portrayed together.
