This is the first movie I took my 3 year old daughter to and we BOTH loved it! I was worried she would be scared and she was a little hesitant of the dark but the movie drew her in right away. I'd highly recommend it.

As a young girl I grew up with a love for fairy tales and the classic Disney animated movies. When I heard Disney was going to do a movie on Rapuzel I was absolutely stoked.
It had all the charm and the catchy sing-a-long music from all of the big hit Disney animated favorites but with the newer animation style.

As a screenwriter, I have a hard time getting out of "analysis mode" when I go to a film. But Tangled had me so tied up in the fun that I forgot my profession for awhile. The story was well-crafted, characters were quirky and fun, and even the old animation gags and jokes played in fun, fresh ways. The themes were well-developed and the visuals were BREATHTAKING. I was charmed and blown away. I'm 27, and I felt like I was 7 again. Love Rapunzel and Flynn! Go see it before it's gone off the big screen. You'll be glad you did.

Once upon a time good, clean fun didn't mean making a choice between bland and boring. This film reminded me of what that world was like. Funny without resorting the profane, sweet without risk of cavities, it offers a heroine with brains and dreams, a very mortal male protagonist who easily holds his own in the realm of princesses and magic, and a horse who - without speech - manages to nonetheless convey the most emotional "kick" of them all. Disney got this one right in ways I didn't expect. At times you find yourself wanting the villain to convert to the light side. If these are cardboard cutouts, they're cardboard painted on both sides. Well done!

overall fun movie, even my 14 yr old who didn't want to see a kids movie enjoyed it. especially liked how rupunzile was strenghtened throughout the movie, had a realistic view of her conflicts not overly feministic, and not waiting for prince charming. A lot of funny subtle humor like giving the macho horse behaviours of a playful dog.

The last couple Disney movies have been disappointing to me, but Tangled was funny, had a great story, great songs, and wonderful talent. I took my 6 year old daughter and we had a great time. There were many funny parts and it is always wonderful to hear your child laugh. I am a sap and of course shed some tears LOL but then I was laughing again. Once it finished we were both clapping along with the rest of the audience. I told my daughter that I can't wait for it to come out on DVD....Definitely buying it.

the girls loved this movie. A Wonderful take on the old repunzel story. Was a little scary at times for my 4 year old, but she got through it holding my hand. I loved the twists and how they changed the story line from the version I had been told growing up.
