We took our three year old to see this movie and he sat still and laughed through the entire movie! That's says volumes right there! LOL Seriously, very well created characters that people can identify with. The horse, Maximus, steals the show and is very funny. Highly recommend this movie for families.

This is probably one of the best movies to come out of the non-Pixar part of Disney in ages. The animation is gorgeous, the characters go way beyond typical "child's fare" (the behavior of "Mother Gothel" is so horrendous as to send us all to therapy). GO TO THIS MOVIE!

This is the perfect movie to entertain boys and girls of all ages. My 11 year old son asked if we could buy the DVD when it came out! He'd never asked that about a princess movie before! my 41/2 yr old son and I very much enjoyed this movie. It was fun, exciting, laugh-out-loud funny at times, and held his attention for most of the movie (which is not always easy). I agree that Mandy Moore was awesome for this; also agree with Tired Parent that there were just a few music/singing scenes that were too long for the little ones (they almost lost my son then). But that said, I still would highly recommend this movie for both genders and most any age group. Well-done Disney!

Disney did a great job on Tangled. Very loosely based on Rapunzel, they were very smart not to call it that and drive away the "boy" audience. It seemed like they threw in a few too many long musical scenes w/ ruffians and things boys might like, in order to cater to boys and not make this just another "princess" movie w/ only a girl following. That's why only 4 stars, otherwise a great movie, some fresh ideas, great cartooning. So much better than "Princess and the Frog", which didn't have a real "princess" in it (why call it that & misrepresent?). My daughter shuns anything dealing w/ Tiana (lost revenue there Disney, since you're lumping Tiana in w/ other "princess group shot" merchandise now).

The movie was well written and colorful (visually and characters). I get more and more impressed everytime I see a Disney animated movie, because they really put forth an effort to attract all family members. Our group ranged from a 9 year old girl (tomboy), to a 27 year old man, to a 71 year old grandma (and a few ages in between). We all thought the movie was fabulous!

I loved Tangled. Went with my husband and 8 yr old stepdaughter. And we all did! Laughs all throughout the movie (esp parts with the chameleon!) .. romantic, funny, enough parts with singing, but not too much. action parts, heart felt.. all around GREAT! definitely recommend and will buy when on DVD, can't wait to see again. :-)

Went with our 6 year old. Hard to find movies that are appropriate for a child and Tangle certainly fills the bill. There were parts that were a little boring for both child and parents but overall it was entertaining.

i took my 6 year old daughter to see this yesterday and we both loved it!! all the songs were great and the story line was too. donna murphy played the nasty mother gothel brilliantly!! it was such a sweet movie. lots of laughs for the little kids and big kids!! would watch it over and over!! disney didnt disappoint!! :)

Although the plot follows somewhat the traditional story of Rapunzel, Disney gives it some nice twists and turns. Disney's CGI animation rivals anything from their sister Pixar division, and the story is engaging for children and adults. I was most pleasantly surprised by how good this movie was.

Took my 3 year old to see this movie and it did not disappoint! Very beautifully made and the story line was wonderful. I loved the comedic parts with the horse and the chameleon. Overall 5 stars!
