it was great my whole family enjoyed it. My girls said the beginning was a little slow, but after about 10 minutes the action made up for it. good movie all the way around in my opinion.

The story line was cute and the movie kept the attention of a 1.5 year old, a 3 year old, and a 6 year old the entire time....twice. They want to see it yet again but we will wait until it comes on DVD so we can buy it. I was much more impressed with this movie than Princess and a Frog. The movie included laugh out loud moments. The story line and characters made it appealing for both girls and boys. Great movie!

I enjoyed this movie much more than I thought I would. It was cute. My kids are 10 (girl), 10 (boy), and 8 (boy). They all liked it and I didn't get bored so it was worth seeing. My brother said that my 5 year old niece enjoyed it too. : )

An attention-getting (and keeping) movie for the young and young-at-heart. Will be a classic Disney animated film. Ranks up there with "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast" as far as story, animation,etc. Only drawback; the music and lyrics aren't the same caliber - not bad, just not great. Nonetheless, great movie and I would see it again!

Grandma and I took our 5 and 7 year old Grand daughters to see this movie. I went kicking and and crying all the way, but really enjoyed it, as did the grand children and grandma. We did not see it in 3D. Both adults involved thought we could spend the additional cost on other things for the kids that they would have when they went home. Neither one of our kids seemed frightened by the "evil" guardian and only giggled at the "bad guy" image of the boyfriend. I would recommend it to anyone with granddaughters.

Rather an extremely dark side as in the very old Fairy Tales with a Guardian mother as scary & evil figure - really quite extreme. And an outlaw boyfriend (though very handsome young man) none-the-less a hoodlum thief turns good - ends up the lost princess' first love and groom to be. Not sure why he took her to lunch at a place with only creepy ghoulish characters - not one remotely normal looking thing to be found - should have made her wish she'd never left the tower.

This is a wonderful family movie that all ages can enjoy. There are plenty of parts where my kids and I were all laughing. It has a good message and has that good old fashioned Disney charm. It is not one of the fast-paced overstimulating movies that leaves the kids hyped up. All in all a great movie.

Tangled is a great entertainer. As with most animation movies recently, the sidekicks bring more smiles than the main characters. In this case its Pascal and Maximus who make you laugh just by their expressions. The story line is pretty neat and the animations pop out. Overall a great movie to watch with the family.

What a great movie. I took 8 and 12 year old girls and a 10 year old boy. We all enjoyed it very much. Maximus really does steal the show. There are some scary parts, but that is Disney style of how good triumphs over evil. It is short and quickly recovered. Great job. Will definately buy the DVD.

I took my five grandchildren ages 5 to 12 and all loved the movie. There is a good mixture of comedy and drama but nothing that is overly scarey. From an adult point of view I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and as usual the Pixar animation is always fascinating.

My wife and I had not really thought about attending this movie until it was recommended by some of our friends who are our age. We were very surprised by this movie and enjoyed it a lot. We even talked our 20 year-old son into attending with us and he laughed through the entire movie (as did we). The music is not memorable enough that I would purchase a soundtrack but it is not too bad. I would definitely recommend the movie to anyone of almost any age. The bandits, although quite funny, could be considered scary by younger children. Other than that, I think everyone would enjoy it.

It's always refreshing to see how Disney updates the fairy tales. It was nice to see how Rapunzel grew from a young girl with no say so in her life to a young woman becoming independent and finding her way in the world! This was a great movie. I enjoy animated movies, but my wife generally does not, and my 6 and under daughters all eat this stuff up. I thought the movie was great, and Maximus, the horse, stole the show. There were great fight scenes, running gags, high highs, low lows, bad guys, worse guys, bad guys that are good guys, good guys that are bad guys; in short, it had just about everything one could desire in a Disney flick. Also, the animation was great. We didn't see it in 3D, unfortunately, but the 2D had so much depth to it, it seemed almost 3D. Anyway, my wife, who came in expecting disappointment, also thought this was a fantastic movie! My kids also loved the movie, but, like with Bambi, there are some scenes that are pretty intense for my little ones, two of which quickly moved to my lap and buried their heads in my arms for some parts. However, unlike Bambi, the damage is reversed, which helps out quite a bit. Overall, a truly great family film that really plays well to the whole family.

My wife and I both wanted to start the holiday with something that was refreshing and enjoyable and spirit renewing. We both acheived that after seeing Tangled.
Tha animation was Disney excellence! The music was strong and outstanding! The story was a true spirit renewer.
This does deserve that Golden Globe.
Great job!

I went in kind of dreading this movie, because I am kind of tired of sappy Princess movies that I am forced to watch with my daughter; however, this movie exceeded my expectations. While Rapunzel did require some rescuing, she was a pretty "strong" female character overall. Additionally, I even laughed throughout the entire movie. I don't mean the occasional chuckle either; I mean full out laughing with a real full belly laugh here and there as well. I do have a question though: are Disney character eyes getting bigger and weirder as I get older?

Movie was entertaining and the kids loved it. Story was good but not the typical Disney great. Was like comparing a Tom Clancy series book written by somebody else to an actual Tom Clancy written book. Disney has set the bar high with their animation and stories. This was a notch below but still entertaining.
