I took my 3 1/2 year old daughter to see this movie and it did not disappoint! Although it was geared towards kids a little older it was still appropriate. I feel that the initial meeting betwen Rapunzel and Flynn could have been a little less violent (slapstick of course)-but I can look past it. I would rate the story, characters and scenery above average, but the songs-while great-are only adequate and by no means memorable compared to past Disney classics (Littlle Mermaid, Lion King). Actor Zac Levi (Flynn) has described this movie as resembling "Romancing the Stone", which is great analogy. Mandy Moore was perfectly cast as Rapunzel and gives her character just the right blend of "girl next door/rebellious teenager/angst' portrayed in good comedic fashion. For 6-10 year old boys and girls this movie has the right blend of comedy and action. The two non-speaking animals steal the show with their physical comedy and facial expresssions. All this being said, I still give it 5 stars and highly recommend it.

This was a terrific movie filled with LOTS of great laughs and a wonderful story line! I would definitely see it again and recommend it to a friend!!! :) I took 3 kids ages ranging form 5 to 16 and they all loved it. Even the 5 year old sat through the entire movie without having to go to the bathroom or get up at all!

4 year old grandson was captivated, and the rest of the family really enjoyed it. Movie is well done, but I found myself getting bored about an hour into it and waiting for the end. But for kids, it is very good and you can't say that about many movies these days.

Tangled was a funny movie with a hint of sadness. It took me a while to figure out why Flynn Rider had cut off Rapunzel's hair before she saved him. But still, I would HIGHLY recommend this movie to anyone who is stuck between what movie to see. (I also liked how Rapunzel's hair glowed and healed and how Flynn Rider's real name was Eugene Fitzherbert!!!)

If this is Disney's last princess movie for the foreseeable future, it's good they went out with a BANG. The movie is staged like a Broadway show from the first number to the very end. A great deal of humor for the older audience that is not obvious enough for the youngsters to get. It was an enjoyable experience for all.

I took my teenage granddaughters to see this movie. They picked it out. It was great. I love Disney movies and they are getting better all the time. I would recomend this movie to everyone. My granddaughters are 13,14,17 and Im 60. It was great fun.

This movie was excellent. I took my 5 year old grandson (his 1st movie in a theater), and he laughed. We LOVED the horse!!! The animation was great and as with all Disney films there was romance, adventure and music. I will definitely buy the DVD when it comes out.

I loved this movie. I loved that Rapunzel grappled with being disobedient to her "mom", even though Gothel wasn't nice. I loved that Flynn realized that Eugene was just fine by the end of the movie, and I loved, loved, loved the whole thing. Definitely worth the price of admission!

I have two BOYS...a 6 and 9yr old. Ever since they saw the previews of Maximus the horse, they wanted to see it. I'm SO glad they decided to make the movie gender neutral and include 'boy stuff' too including calling it Tangled vs Rapunzel. Ironically we got a puppy 4 weeks ago and we named him "Max" although I call him "Maximus" so we HAD to see this movie.
I haven't been to a movie in a LONG time where there was an applause afterwards but there certainly was for this one. Both kids, parents and even Grandparents were laughing and enjoying the movie. Plenty of jokes for all ages, very funny, sweet, FUN, cute movie!! My boys are already talking about seeing it again! LOVED IT!

I think this will become as treasured a story as Cinderella and Snow White.... I can't believe Disney waited this long to do this tale, but it is definately worth 50 years of magic!! My mother and I took my kids (3 and 7), and we all enjoyed it. Perfect magic and mystery, romance and the "floating lights"... oh!! I can just see that being done at Disney to celebrate!! Took the extended family (15 people ages 7 through 49) to see Tangled. An absolutely great movie for all ages...the younger kids, teenagers and adults in the group all enjoyed it!

One of the best princess stories yet. Great animation, I saw it in 2D. "Brief violence" is very Tom & Jerry, brief and violent, in the cartoon way.

Megamind had disapointed me so I was hoping this kid movie would redeem the genre...........AND BOY DID IT EVER!!! My kids and I LOVED it! Story was good, action ,romance, comedy and most importantly it was fun!!!
