I loved the movie, but my 3 year old granddaughter was very upset with the violence. She may be more sensitive than the average little girl but there is a significant amount which is mild but I would not call it brief.

Our group was a 55 yr. old woman, a 29 yr. old man, and a 3 1/2 yr. old girl. We all loved the movie, it is definately a hit for kids of all ages. Can't wait to purchase it on DVD!

My wife and I went to this movie on Valentines Day, her choice. To my surprise I enjoyed it, it is a nice story with some funny parts and the animation is great! My wife loved the movie so much she changed her computer background to a scene from it and now wants to get it on DVD. It would be a great movie for kids that adults can handle watching. It did not have any annoying characters and although there was more singing than I care for, there was less than I was expecting.

This movie was OK but for the money spent, I would recommend waiting for it to come out on DVD and watch it at home. It doesn't hold a candle to other Disney "Classics" ie: The Lion King, Mulan, etc. Not to mention the kids in the row behind us kicking our seats, crying that they have to go potty or that they dropped their popcorn...

This was one of the best animated movies I have been to in awhile. It was fast paced, funny and very appropriate for children. Many animated movies have the "innuendo" jokes for the adults that are intended to go over the heads of the kids, but this movie did not need that in order to be entertaining for all ages.

The entire family went to see this movie yesterday and we all really enjoyed it! The film was beautifully animated, the characters were interesting. We especially love Rapunzel who, in our opinion is the best Disney princess ever. You will not be disappointed!

The animation was great...facial expressions priceless and the humor was good. We were concerned however for younger kids about the "rebellion" against parents encouraged and normalized. (even though it wasn't against her real parents). It would be a good discussion point for kids at the reasoning age, but should not be left without discussion. It was also a bit much for younger kids to begin with getting abducted.

I took my kids, ages 10 and 3 to see this movie with my husband. The picture was vivid and bright, the colors fantastic. This was the best looking animation from Disney to date. The story was incredibly cute. It did not have anything in it to really scare a little one either. I would take my kids to see this again, and definitely purchase it for our collection. If you have not seen this yet, RUN to the theater NOW before it's gone.
