Despite the fact that somepeople decided to act stupid during the movie, my friends and I really enjoyed how it touched on the relationship of class within the black family and the look at the mother-son dynamic. It's nice to see a movie showing real love between a man and woman and how it cam withstand so nanny trials and tribulations and also the fact that they were believers of God.

I did enjoy the movie.. it did have a couple of my favorite actors e.g Mike Epps and it was really nice seeing TD Jakes again on the big screen.. Because of all the kissing and almost making out in it, I wont recommend that kids under 15 watch it.

This movie was exactly as entertaining as I expected - maybe more so. I laughed throughout the entire movie, & there were some very poignant moments as well. At times the movie tried to do too much by introducing topics/issues that were not further explored. I could have done without all the usual stereotypes about class, skin color and African-Americans in general, but since these stereotypes were included I think there were missed opportunities to highlight the ignorance of these sterotypes through humor. Paula Patton's character was annoying at times, but overall the movie was excellent & very funny. I loved the setting & wardrobes too. I walked out of the movie ready to watch it again. I can't wait to purchase a copy for my movie collection!

While this movie was entertaining and certainly had its funny moments, I just could not rate it more than a 3. There were fragmented parts in the storyline which to me just did not go together and I found the acting to be just ok.

Go see this movie!!!! It was definitely worth it!! I enjoyed every minute of the movie!! Laz Alonzo...what can I say. Every actor did their job!!! Loretta Devine is under-rated!
