Great romance. Great love scenes. Story was a little muddled about jacob & the wherewolves at first but cleared up at the end. Seriously dying to see next movie when Bella is a vampire & we can see their baby!

I thought the movie was awesome.So glad I previewed it before taking my 10 year old Niece though.The wedding night scene was my concern and just as I had suspected was too much for her to see,don't want to be answering those questions about why he was grinding on top of her!!!

Taylor Lautner did an outstanding acting job in this one, he really makes the movie as Jacob! The adult themed scenes were handled tastefully and my 9 yr old daughter loved this! I am a huge fan of the book and quite of few details were left out but over all I like it! Can not wait for the final film!

What a refreshing way this first part was delivered! I was wondering how a lot of parts would play out from the book and found the screenplay and directing ideal! The acting was way better, they all seem to be extremely comfortable with eachother now I liked the quirky and sometimes playful moments especially with Jacob and Charlie. A little comic relief from the seriousness gives it a nice balance. You see more of the whole family with Bella's Mother, Rene and vampire cousins. It had the whole element of surprise and kept your attention. I can't say enough about the makeup artists and special effects in how they made Bella look as she was malnourished and dead, like she was vacuumed inside. Great story!

They did an excellent job with BD1. Edward and Bella look great and are very genuine.
Of course the movie does some stuff different than the book, but they made it work very well. Exciting, romantic, fun!

Part 1 is only the beginning and it was done very well. I was worried how they were going to portray everything that goes on in the book for the young ones to see but they did this well. There was just enough action and everything to keep everyone engaged. The sex scenes were done well, nothing was shown. So you can bring your teenage daughter to see this and even your 11-12 year olds if they read the book. As long as you read the book you are okay to see this. This was a really good movie and I'm on pins and needles until Part 2.

I really enjoy the Twilight series. Breaking Dawn left you waiting for the final movie as the other three did as well. There were some really good scenes, but I think way too many things might have left out; yet, still, will buy it!

They did such a good job with the movie. I think they showed what many of us who read the books really imagined. I was heart wrenching to see her die while carrying the baby she wanted so badly.

So many great parts! Kristen Stewart was wonderful. The wedding was beautiful and the toasts were hysterical. The honeymoon was hot! (even without anything graphic!). The pregnancy and all that went on - WOW!

My expectations for this movie were low. The first 3 just didn't live up to the book or the expectations that I had had. Going into this movie, I was unsure how everything was going to come to life. Fortunately, the director did an amazing job and the movie ended up being 10 times better than the first 3 movies.

Of the whole series this book is by far my favorite and I so wish Stephenie Meyer will choose to eventually continue the saga! While the book was better, as is the case most of the time, the movie was absolutely AMAZING! Visually stunning, the wedding, honeymoon, her pregnancy-everything! Adapting the book to the screen must have been quite a daunting process for the screenwriter because much of the books dialogue takes place inside the characters private thoughts but the movie did a fantastic job of translating the story to the big screen! Now I just can't wait for Part Two and wish they would have released it as a double feature or at least in June 2012 instead of making us wait another full year for the conclusion :(

I was worried about this film, because after reading the book, the first thing I said was, "How in the WORLD will they be able to make this into a movie?" But they did, and it is well done. It follows the book and even with the intense nature of the material, there is still comic relief. I loved it! I've seen it twice.

I loved Breaking Dawn, part 1. I thought it was pretty close to the book. I thought the acting was excellent in this chapter, but I would have liked to see a little more action with the vampires and werewolves. I would definitely recommend to family and friends, and I will definitely go see again, and purchase the DVD when available. Great movie.

Okay, so first off I should reveal (or admit) that I have read the books. Not once, or twice, but 34 times (I've read all 4 a total of 34 times)! So of course the books are ALWAYS better...until now. I really enjoyed Breaking Dawn (Pt.1) for several reasons. Firstly, it stuck to the book very well. Secondly, when it didn't stick to the book, it expanded upon it, building interesting moments that just can't be shown in a book (unless it's a picture book!). The acting was so amazing, and at times extremely realistic. You truly believe Bella is sick. There were a few "ick" factors that some of my fellow movie goers were grossed out by, but honestly...it's a vampire movie! All in all, I say it's the best in the Saga, and stands on it's own wonderfully. Go see it. Again...and again...and again!!!
