BD has always been my fav book in the series, being a mom of a little girl it really spoke to me, Bella's and Nessie's relationship. So, I was a little scared that the movie wouldn't do it justice. I mean let's face it even though the other three are great at some point that didn't exactly follow the book. But as I was watching it far exceeded my expectations and my apprehensions about it not being like the book were put to rest right away. Bill Condon did an amazing job, as did the entire cast. Bill actually got it. I was thrilled and left the theater on such a high even though it was practically 3 in the morning. November 16 can't get here soon enough!

This was by far better than New Moon and Eclipse. The acting was better and they did an awesome job making Bella look sick and frail. It was phenomenal.

Go see this movie only if you are a die-hard fan of the Twilight movies and books. Otherwise, the first 30 mins is a complete waste of time watching Bella and Edward on their honeymoon. After that, the plot does thicken but remember - it's not much of a plot to begin with. The acting is horrible (but that's not news) and the dialogue is seriously lacking any depth.
This movie is just a transition to the next one and, in my opinion, none of the movies have lived up to the hype or freshness of the first one.
If I were you, I'd wait until it came on Cable.

The first half of this movie was incredibly slow. I can see how you might enjoy the continuing story but if you read the books then this movie will be disappointment. I thought the special effects were on par with the original Star Trek.

This movie was total CRAP!!! How the hell can someone get pregnant by a vampire? Bella needs to go down to Louisiana and goto bon temp and hook up with Bill or Eric and a real wearwolf named Alcide. Because we all know real vampires done SPARKEL!!! And they dont play softball in thunderstorm and they sure as hell dont come out during they day. Get a clue and watch TRUE BLOOD!!!

Caught an early sneak peek showing of this and I have to say I was impressed. As a stand-alone movie it's a mixed bag. But it progresses the story of beloved characters with a reverence for the source material that will doubtlessly please Twi-hards, ushering in a finale that promises to be darker still. This one draws you close and keeps you there - and, for those of us who haven't read Stephenie Meyer's novel, delivers some surprising turns of plot. All in all, a must see!

i saw the trailer and i was amazed!! part 2 will also be drop dead exciting it; has more violence , new characters, more edward and bella action, and will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat....fans will scream and gasp for air every second of the twilight saga:breaking dawn part 2...words to describe the last movie.. "exciting".. "romantic"..."shocking'

Considering characters are new actors/actresses and Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse (all PG13) followed the books pretty much, I'd say BREAKING DAWN PT 1/2 (both R) WILL BE THE BEST OF THE SERIES... looking forward to the wedding of Edward/Bella, Isle Esme, Bella's "turning" and especially when Jacob does finally "imprint"--won't spoil the movie by telling w/whom or connecting w/any of the plots/scenes--but it will indeed be one of the movies' highlights!!
