I found myself riveted to the screen once I made peace with all the scenes they left out (that were included in the book). The book was deep by way of underlying emotions, and this was captured creatively on film. Action, romance and conflict...it was all there and leaves you immediately wanting more.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie - would have liked the beginning to include more things from the book, rather than 20 minutes of daydreaming, but I loved the ending - intense! Can't wait for Part 2

I truely LOVED this movie and can not wait til part 2 comes out. I really enjoyed the scenes the digital work has gotten much better. I would recommend to Friends and family and before I left the movie theater I was telling my friends and family to come see it.

I loved it! This movie was certainly made for fans of the book (and previous movies). Those who have not read the books or seen the previous films may find themselves a bit lost, as there are issues that are not fully explained. I loved the fact that at the wedding when Bella and Edward kissed they played the same song as when they were dancing at prom in Twilight. They also used the original score from twilight in many parts of the film. The little touches such as those ones really made the movie . I've seen it described as "slow" by some critics saying there is not alot of action, but I didn't feel that way at all. Perhaps that is because I loved the book so much I truly enjoyed watching it come to life on the screen. I thought the honeymoon scene was tastefully done, considering the young audiance (of course I would have loved to see more). The birth scene was also a perfect repesentation of the text in my opinion. For those who are not fans of the series you may not understand all aspects of what is happening, but for those of us that have been truly touched by these books, I can't imagine how you couldn't enjoy the experience this movie creates!

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this movie! If you have read the book, you will DEFINITELY be pleased! The movie follows the book very closely...word-for-word at times! Best Twilight movie yet, and I can't WAIT to see it again!!!

I loved Breaking Dawn Part 1! It was done by a much better director than the previous movies and was very suspenseful. They didn't put too much make-up on the "vampires" for a change and the special effects were awesome. I can't wait for Part 2!!!

If you are a true Twilight fan, you will definitely enjoy this movie. It does not steer far away from the book, and the romantic connection between Bella and Edward is phenomenally captured on film. A few parts could have been filmed/explained better (especially for those who did not read the books), but otherwise the movie was great.

The most suspensful and action-packed movie by far! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! The love story between Edward and Bella is captivating! The only thing was that the ending was too predictable, I knew exactly how it was going to end. I'm also mad to the fact that the second part will not be released until November of next year!!!

Thanks to my daughter I am now a Twilight fan. This was a very good movie following the first three. I was much happier with Bella's acting in this movie than the others. The story has a lot of drama and plot twists, with Jacob becoming quite the hero, and now undoubtedly intertwined forever with Bella. I thought some of the honeymoon could have been cut down a bit (too long and drawn out), and have the most impressive drama come in sooner. I also liked Edward's acting skills in this movie toward the end more than at the beginning. I also thought Jacob did an excellent job in his part. I am looking forward to part 2 but don't think I would battle the crowds again for an opening night...that was insane!!

I was very impressed with this movie! It stays the closest to the book than any of the previous 3. I adore the books so this is exactly what I was looking for. They did a great job with Bella's character...relaying her feelings with unspoken scenes. AND my goodness they did an amazing job making her look starved and on the verge of death! The first half of the movie was amazingly romantic...just like the books. THANK YOU to all who had a hand in the making of this movie!

I'm a fan of all the books, I've read them and re-read them. Let me start of by telling you that Breaking Dawn does not follow the book, if you can let that go, sit back and enjoy the ride. I loved this movie. It went off on weird turns from the book, but it's a movie not a book. It was surprisingly funny and fun to watch. That said, I do NOT recommend this movie for children under the age of 15 (depending on maturatey level, that is your call) There is sex, yes they get married, duh. And there is a VERY gorey part.
TWI-FANS go in with an open mind and have fun with the characters we've grown to love.

Breaking Dawn - Part 1 was the best movie in the series so far. There were a couple of scenes that I didn't remember happening in the book, but it's been a long time since I've read the book. But when it ended, it was a total surprise to me. I was caught up in the movie and didn't even realize that almost two hours had passed. Loved the ending. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn - Part 2!!

Enjoyed the surprisingly tender/funny moments between Bella and her Dad, her parents, Jacob and Edward, and the flirtatous nature of Bella on her honeymoon because of her absolute trust in Edward. Power of love/family/and friendship dispicted in so many different ways. can't wait for part 2!

I loved that they used the same music as the first movie. They seemed more interested in getting big music names on the soundtrack in the last 2 movies than actually making something that works with the scene. Loved the movie.
