This was really done well. Lots of great visuals, suspense, great scenery, etc. I love it when you can follow the storyline in the movie and it stays on course throughout. We think this was the best so far! Cannot wait to see the last installment. Well Done.

It was fantastic in the way it was done. And why would Adults that admit they hate the Books go and think their reviews are helpful or needed? Duh! I happen to be 61, so adult fits, I also happen to be above average iq, so went because I am a Fan, would never pay to watch something I already know I hate. But Fan or not it was just the right mix of comedy, action, emotion and well, entertaining for an afternoon! will watch again before seeing part 2.

Bill Condon was a blessing to this movie franchise. This was a beautifully shot, edited and acted movie that shifted the focus back to the emotional center of these movies -- Bella and her love for Edward. And anyone who has seen the movie knows how beautifully the attractive cast finally appears. Although the story line of the books becomes increasingly implausible, the movie was emotionally compelling and effectively used the tension between the wolves and vampires to keep the level of excitement high. Beautiful flick for a genre film. Well worth seeing on multiple occasions! Bravo Bill Condon!

This was an excellent film! It was full of drama, fantasy, unexpected bonds and peppered with a bit of comic relief. I am awaiting the DVD release so I can watch it over again. There was a part or two that drug on just a bit, but that may have been just the suspense for dramatic effectiveness. The only complaint I have, however, is the ending. It does leave you hanging just a bit and now I have to wait a whole year just to watch part 2. Looking forward to it and will be counting down until it arrives. Hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I did.

Sloooow start, sloooooower middle and a grateful fast ending. I was never a Twilight fan, skipped pages at a time to get anywhere in the plot, but movie versions are sometimes better than the books. Sloooow book, slooow movie. We were 4 adults, 1 teen (14yr girl); 3 adults slept (I am sorry to say I couldn't) and one teen could not stay seated she was so excited. I guess you really have to be a fan.

The movie was good, if you've read the book you know what's going on. If you haven't read the book you might not get what's going on in the movie. I enjoyed this movie more so than the others, but I thought the pregnancy part dragged a bit.
The book was more intense and I found myself laughing at the birth scene....
Being a PG-13 movie making it viewable by preteens took alot out of the intensity that should have been in the movie.

Fabulous movie! The most beautiful wedding I have ever seen for sure! Was better than I had imagined. Though I will say for the younger viewers, it doesn't show actual parts...but leaves nothing to the imagination. So, if you have small children that love Twilight, you might be careful when allowing them to see this one. For older teens & adults it is a beautiful movie as always... ;)

I am a Twilight fan and have been waiting for a long time to see this movie. Then it gets here and a lot of the 1st half of the book is missing!! WTF!! Considering that they split the book into 2 movies you will think they could accomodate more of the book than in just one movie.
And to boot, the order is off and there is stuff in the movie that looks childish and comicky. Action scenes are great ( the director is a guy so that explains it) but the romantic stuff and the angst stuff (with Jacob and the wolfs and Jacob and the Cullens) is pretty dry indeed.

As a Twi-hard, this portion was integral for the whole series...But there is so much of Bella's opinion about why she feels so strongly about this baby that is missing. Bella spends the entire movie as a victim, and the book didn't make it so. She asserts herself only once or twice in the movie, but the book is entirely about her inner thoughts and perspective which is largely missing in this movie. the wedding was so much more drawn out than in the book, and you could tell they were trying to stretch this into two different movies. I don't think it really needed to be split.

I was not impressed. I am not a fan of the movies or the books but my 13 year old LOVES the books yet she hated the movie. She said that they left alot out and even the details of the movies did not coincide with the book. So, in the words of Damon Wayans from In Living Color, Men on Films......HATED IT.

I was looking forward to seeing this movie. I didn't read the books, so I didn't know what to expect. Overall, I really enjoyed the movie. A couple parts were a bit "gory" for my tastes however. I didn't feel those were absolutely necessary to show in detail. Looking forward to seeing the 2nd and the last part of the story.

Not only did the movie go along with the book in a majority of aspects, it stayed true to character personality. The ending was at a great point of the book as well. The ending of a climactic scene but enough to entice audiences to come back for the second one. Although I would say it is graphic. But that is also in the book so I am not by any means complaining. I just feel some should know the ending is the reason for the PG 13 rating.

To me, this is one of the best in the whole movie series. Lots of twists and turns and makes me want to go back ASAP for part 2 after the way they ended it. Love how Jake stands up for himself finally and it is just the best movie so far. Not better than HP but right up there with it. LOVED IT.

Very well laid out, especially showing when Jacob imprints on Renesmee and it is clear then he has made a clean break from the pack. I thought that was set up very well. The only odd part was the end. Alot of people don't know to stay through the credits, there is a very important last scene in them they are missing...will lead you into part 2.

This was by far my favorite of the Twlight saga. The story is well written and the actors really bring the characters to life. You can feel the love Edward and

They did a nice job tying together all the parts. the honeymoon was a little long, but otherwise did a good job in explaining Jacobs break from the pack and imprinting.
