I'm rating this high because I have loved the series even though it's had some really sucky parts. I loved the way this movie was executed but there were some scenes that left some people in the dark.
I've read the books so I know what was going on and why but some people who just go to see the movies were kind of confused by this movie.
I'm going to start off by saying the "sex" scene was really bad. It went on way too long, and I thought it was quite gross personally. Then the wolves talking was a bit wierd for some, but what really annoyed some in the theaters was that Edward was getting full conversations with people's thoughts but we have no idea what was going on.
I also think that the "birth" scene could have been played better. Seeing as how they're all vampires don't you think they would have known Bella's heart was beating the entire time? A lot of people were confused by this scene and started whispers of her being dead, and showing the inside of her body was a nice twist.
Overall I still liked the movie and I am probably going to go see it again,

This movie was soooooo different from the others but it was sooooo worth the wait! You got to see things from everyone's perspective not just Bella this time! It was great! A little graphic for kids in a few parts but I loved the whole thing and can't wait to buy it on DVD!!!!

Great movie in the Twilight series. Tons of inner drama, romance, and even some funny scenes. It went by so fast, I hate that I have to wait another year for part 2. Definately going to see it again in the theatre.

I'm so glad the didnt just barely touch on every experience of the wedding and after I did feel it moved a little too quickly but they incorporated every emotion a person should feel during these events so the viewer defiantly can sense the realism they try to portray and have those feelings just pulsing through ur body I love that it was so engaging !!!!!! Thank u its the best one so far!!!!!

If your a fan of the books/movies you won't be disappointed. There was definitely more skin and more blood than I thought there would be!! Finally we get a director that gets their eyes right in every scene and used plenty of movie magic to really sell whats happening. Overall a great movie adaptation to the book. Make sure you stay for after the credits!!

As a Twi-hard fan, I was soooo excited to see this part in the saga. However, I was sadly disappointed. I found the music to be not twilight-y and a bit cheesy. The best parts of the movie were shown in the preview. I have read and re-read all of the books; Overall, I think this part of the saga fell short of its true potential. I would give it 5 out of 10 stars. Definitely the worst Twilight movie yet.

You can tell that the main characters are getting better working with each other. Loved the way Part 1 stayed close to the book. Great way to hear the wolves communicating with each other. Totally thrilled with this movie and really looking forward to Part 2.

I was 100% satisfied with Breakinf Dawn part 1. Waited 1 year for it and it was great. I'll admit I am a die hard Twitard so of corse I'l say "5 stars" but it really was entertaining. I laughed at 1 scene for being a bit cheesy, but other then that it was excellent. If you haven't read the books you may be confused. HAVE FUN!

Seriously folks. Do you think anyone is going to give a negative review about a movie that was jammed packed with TwiHards at the midnight showing??? Well, neither am I! It was fabulous! Exciting, romantic, and true to the book. What else would we expect now that Stephenie Meyer is the producer of the films. Yes, we wished it was longer and contained more scenes from the book, but we do that with every Twilight movie made. Heck, I wish that with almost every movie made that is based on a book. What was included in the film was breathtaking and filled with incredible special effects and touching emotion. I especially enjoyed Bella's parents in this film. It will be a long year until the final installment is released, that is for sure!

The movie was awesome! We went to the midnight showing. It closely followed the book with just a few minor exceptions. The movie moved along quickly - it was over before I knew it! Something for everyone - action, romance, mystery... If you haven't been to see it yet, you must go - you won't be disappointed. I can't wait for part 2. I so want to go see part one again!

This was a good, solid Twilight movie. There's more storyline in Part 1, with more action upcoming in Part 2, but this sets the scene and has a great tone. There was only one very poor scene in my opinion, and that was the wolf pack telepathy portion. The imprinting was also a little cheesy, but it's difficult to play that out in a film. Overall I thought it was funny, emotional, and I'm happy with the movie!

As a huge fan of the Twilight [book] Series, this movie came out to be a nice visual aid to my reading experience at best. The acting was okay, the aesthetics were visually pleasing, but the storyline seemed to drag on with the exaggerated romantic scenes and scenes of long dramatic emotional contemplation rather than the action and riveting scenes I was hoping for. If you have read the books, I would recommend seeing the movie just to see how they interpreted our favorite scenes from the book. If you haven't read the books, I'd say don't waste your money on a movie that will just confuse and frustrate you.

My favorite thing about this movie is how close it stuck to the book! Obviously, it wasn't exactly like it, but I think it did the best job out of all, now 4, movies from the saga with sticking to the book! As a HUGE fan of the books (more than the movies) I really appreciated that.
