This was a great movie. I have to admit that I liked it a lot more the second time around. I think the reason behind that is because we had to wait a whole year to see it and rather than enjoy it, I was too critical to every single detail. The second time, I wasn't so worked up and actually sat and enjoyed it!

The wedding was beautiful and the way you see how the characters have grown up now it is just amazing! I loved the honeymoon. I love the Twilight Saga and know every line to every movie and back up music. By far this Twilight movie was my favorite and i can't wait to see the part 2.

I thought the wedding scenes were outstanding and really expressed their love for one another. However, I thought the honeymoon scenes (in bed) were a little too detailed than I thought would be appropriate for younger girls, whom these books seem to be geared for. You couldn't expect these girls who have followed and read these books not to be allowed to see this movie as well! Hopefully, it will be an opportunity for parents to discuss love and sex with their girls/children!

This movie was good and followed the book very well. The only drawback was the PG-13 rating. I think it would have been better with more explicit scenes (or maybe that was just my imagination when reading the book). The ending was fabulous. It was a perfect place to end. I think Part 2 will be better and wish I didn't have to wait one year to see it!

Every movie has improved on the book it was based on and Breaking Dawn pt 1 is no exception. Skipping over everything and jumping immediately in to the wedding; avoiding the unbelievably angsty Jake-centric perspective; improving the dialogue. Unfortunately as with the book, I didn't care about anything that happened in pt1. The story starts when Bella becomes a VampMeyer. The wife dragged me to this, I would have happily skipped over it and just watched pt2. My opinion wasn't changed after watching it. PS, the climax of the scene is a violently depicted childbirth. The FX were interesting, but the content was nausiating (all the blood!)

After watching the first two movies this one continued the story as expected. I do think that someone that has not followd the story would not appreciate the movie as much. Not as many special effects which is a plus. Relationships become more defined which is good. Entertaiing movie which I am sure will a hot rental.

I love this movie. You have to watch it more than once to really appreciate it, because you'll catch things you missed the first time. Lots of laughs and one-liners throughout the movie. The soundtrack is awesome. I like how they show flashbacks of the last 3 movies through Bella's "human" memory. Love the part when Bella thinks about "the night before". Attn Movie Goers: Make sure you stay until the end credits, there's a little clip with the Volturi afterwards.

As a true Twihard I have read all the books more than twice...and I was not as impressed as I should be. Don't get me wrong it was good but not great like it should have been. I think where they went wrong was having different directors on each movie. The other movies in the series portrayed the books alot better than Breaking Dawn did. The scenes were sped up way to fast and things were put in that were not in the book. They should have taken them out and put more important things in it. I hope the second part is better than the first.

Yes I have seen this movie 7 times and will probably see it more. I have read many of the reviews written and it is obvious that not many have read the series. I LOVED Twilight, I saw it 13 times, but of all 4 books Breaking Dawn was BY FAR my favorite! I love what they did with the movie, but they have left a lot of stuff out. I'm sure it is a time issue, but there is a lot of things you can catch or understand to a different degree in the movies because you've read the books. That in itself makes it all more intriguing.

One of the best of the series. And not a bad flick, in general. It was closer to the book which I appreciated. I have to say, I saw Twilight in the horror section of a movie rental store and I laughed. Except after this film, I truly believe it belongs there. Half of the film is like a horror flick, but an interesting and fascinating one, with a hair rising turn into the unusual. The movie dealt with more adult themes, definitely expanding in maturity level, to the benefit of the film. In synopsis: More to love, if you ask me. And I’m not just talking about the bed breaking scene. A big wink to RPattz.

The Edward-Bella-Jacob triangle ends in this movie in a surprising way. I loved this movie and have seen it twice...so far. The movie is very true to the book and is, I think, the best of the movies in the Twilight saga. Funny, romantic, suspenseful, and at times surprising...the ending was perfect. Can't wait for part 2. Don't miss it.

As a loyal fan, I would not change a thing. The movie is "based upon" the 200+ pages of the first part of the book, not an exact recreation of the text. All the necessary parts from the book were done in the film, and done well. I found the acting truly engaging, Bella and Edward's jitters as a newly-married couple are very apparent and adorable. Love scenes were really very nicely done -- the stories are about love, not sex, I just wish these scenes had lasted a bit longer. Really though, wouldn't change a thing -- can't wait for the DVD and Part Two!

Does not follow the book! If you thought it did, reread it! There is no need to sensationalize this story. The writer did an incredible job on her own lets keep it that way. I was suprised there were SEVERAL deviations from the original story, the first being at the very beginning of the movie. Not a good start. They also chose to focus on the gore of the birth a lot longer than necessary. It was still a good movie I'm just hoping part two is closer to the book.

Zero action for first hour and a half! Seriously dull flick! I kept looking at my watch hoping there was still time left for wolf vampire action. What a complete disappointment.
