Bella and Edward are stunning is the first half of the movie. This movie kept close to the book which is great. Breaking Dawn part 1 is the best of all the Twilight movies. I will be seeing it many times with other friends.Can't wait for it to come out on dvd to add to my collection. I looking forward to part 2.

This was by far the cheesiest and corniest of all the Twilight Movies but I will end up watching it again :)
Everything went just as you expected, Bella had her perfectly insecure, scared, "OMG, will Edward be waiting for me at the Alter" act down perfectly.
Bella needs to grow some Ovaries. This insecure school girl is getting way old.

Finally the comedy comes through in the movies that we have all enjoyed in the books. I know the movies can't come close to the books, but this was the closest. Normally I really am disappointed with Kristen Stewart's portrayal of Bella, but she did a really good job this time. Great movie!!!!

This movie was definitely a better pick up from the last two movies. There was a bit of slowness to it in some parts. But the drama and action towards the end added what was missing from the first two. The acting in this film was way better performed. All in all awesome movie. A must see for all those big fans.

If you have not seen the beginning of this series, you will have a hard time wih the deep connection between Edward & Bella. I suggest watching them all up to date.... You won't be disappointed!
I wasn't on board originally for all this, "Twihard" mania, but when I finally broke down and watched this "vampire" movie, I couldn't wait til the next and next..... I literally watched it over and over for awhile because of their bond. So, when I knew Breaking Dawn was coming out, I got my tix a month in advance and took my teenagers. Their is a scene, but not long and not too bad for young eyes. The wedding scene couldn't be more perfect!
Now, I cannot wait to see the connection between the fast growing Renesme and Jacob!!! Woo Hoo!!! Great movie, can't wait for video!

I saw this movie twice with my daughter and as much as I love the books and all the other movies. I wasn't sure what I thought about this movie. I thought all the elements of what I wanted to see were there, but I thought an oscar winning director would have made the talking wolves less weird, and something was off with the makeup on the Vulturi and the New Vampires. Other than that The chemistry between jacob and bella was great and Bellas Transformation was amazing and I would pay to hear Rob Pats speak whatever variation of spanish portuguese that was. That was hotter than the sex seen. I am still a Twihard Just being honest.

I'm sure that everyone who read the book will love this film, it's a great adaptation. But to those who have only seen the previous films and never read the books, they might be inclined to scratch their heads and wonder what the hell was happening in certain scenes.

Now I have been a fan of these movies since my wife was obsessed with reading all the books (1 per day!). This movie was overall good. The baby portion just dragged sooooo much it actually got pretty boring. The actual action parts are FANTASTIC though, enough to win 4 of 5 stars. I think it would have been a little better w/o so much drag though.

First, let me say that I'm a diehard Twihard. Own the 1st 3 movies on DVD and have watched them multiple times.I read Breaking Dawn 3 times and was anticipating it being the best yet. Biggest surprise was that it was so humourous I laughed through most of the movie. I expected to cry, but that didn't happen since the powers that be seemed to opt for a "comedy" rather than a romantic drama. The "wolves" looked so incredibly fake. I would have thought that with today's technology they would have surpassed the ones in Eclipse...but they appeared more realistic in the previous movies. I also found the movie to be edited in a very choppy manner. Scenes that should have been longer or more developed(like the wedding, honeymoon, etc) were just a blip on the screen. I'm hoping BD2 will be better.

Even though I have read the books numerous times, it is still a thrill to see the movie come to life! My only criticism is that Edward needs some serious tweezer action on his eyebrows. Bella was stunning and the rest of the cast were right on cue. I plan to see this one a few more times and will be waiting on bated breath for the last of the series!!

This movie was awful. I have never gone into any Twilight movie with expectations, and this was no different. The first 15 minutes was ok, but it royally sucked after she discovered she was pregnant. The acting was bad, and the conversations were awful. I should have gone to see Happy Feet Two. Sadly disappointed.

I am a hard core Twilight fan. I watched the first movie completely on accident and fell in LOVE! I watched it almost daily... I was a little disappointed in New Moon because not much Edward, and the contacts really threw me off. Eclipse (fave book in series) was better but Edward didn't look "like Edward". Breaking Dawn part 1 was absolutely my favorite movie so far... my face hurt from smiling so hard through the whole movie, not to mention my bladder from refusing to leave my seat while the movie played. The movie was very much on point with the book although I would have liked a little more to the sex scene (tasteful, not porno-ish) I am so ready for part 2 but not ready for the series to be over with! =( I would HIGHLY recommend this movie for anyone and everyone and I will be going back a few times till I can buy it on DVD. =)

Romantic, passionate, sensitive, playful and sexy. Stayed very close to the book and just sorry we have to wait another year for the final installment. Stephanie needs to keep writing, there's so many ways to go and other covens to explore. The final scene was jaw-dropping!

The movie was, by far, the BEST movie yet of the ENTIRE series!!!!! It was crazy how many people there were JUST for the midnight premiere, but it was REALLY worth all the wait! :) Words just can't explain how good this movie was!! I was speechless!!! As much as I would like to say I enjoyed Breaking Dawn: Part 1, I cannot. Having read the Twilight Saga, I feel it was a matter of unmet expectations. The book was amazing and I really feel that this movie fell short. Sorry guys, I love my Twilight, but I wanted more! So far, Eclipse is at the top of my list for depicting the book the best.
